Oral Health Education

OHE room

Our qualified Oral Health Educators are also registered dental nurses and make a valuable contribution to our prevention programme.  They provide information and advice on all aspects of oral health care:

  • Prevention of tooth decay
  • Prevention of gum disease
  • Toothbrushing
  • Interdental Cleaning
  • Information on hidden sugars in food and drink
  • Information on acid erosion
  • Fresh Breath
  • Oral cancer awareness and smoking

Struggling with floss, need ideas on how to help your children clean their teeth, how to get the best out of your electric toothbrush, helpful hints on using a manual toothbrush, more fluoride or less? We can help.
